Except for the weather. It was an awesome experience. Ben the tour guide took great care of us, the equipment, and explained all we would see.

Informative, friendly, service was great. Kolin was a great guide very informative of the history of the area, he was very accommodating, we could go at our own pace and he stop as much as we wanted. Will for sure do another tour with this company!

This excursion will be enjoyed by almost anyone! Our guide, Joe was terrific- he outfitted my 89 year old father with a pedal assist bike, and he was able to complete the bike trip with no problems. The views were amazing - as we traversed the fault lines, witnessing giant plates of rock pushing upward out of the soil, we stopped often for photos! This is a must do if you are in the area.

Exhilarating bike ride amid spectacular scenery. SO much fun. We are 70+ active seniors. Ben was an amazing guide describing geological and historical features that we passed on the ride out and back to Boxwood Canyon. The bikes were great as was the paved road. Kudos for a 5 star plus guide and tour

We are older experienced bike riders who were looking for a biking adventure where you could enjoy the scenery and still do some decent biking. This trip was great. Biked 20 miles, most downhill grade, but enough of a grade to require peddling. So you end with a feeling of being worked but not exhausted. Ben, our guide, was great! He was very personable, knew the history of the geology, and was just an all around nice guy. Looking for a beautiful adventure, with a modest challenge, in a beautiful area… then this is your trip

Amazing country, like none I’ve ever seen before. Great guide. Biking was mostly easy and fun. Fig shakes were an extra treat at the end!

Ben was our guide and he was very knowledgeable of the area. He met us in the Morton’s Steakhouse parking lot in Palm Desert. He drove us 40 minutes to the drop off point. I was disappointed that we drove the whole route before being dropped off to bike the same route back down. The bike route is 20 miles and took us 1.5 hour. It is NOT all down hill. You should be in moderate shape to do this ride. We pedaled the entire time. Once you leave Palm Desert, there is no restroom until you return 4 hours later. Nature is your friend for the bathroom during the bike ride. Only half the bike ride is in the canyons. The rest is through open area and farm land. The chain fell off my bike and Ben quickly swapped it out with one in the truck. He follows you in a truck and when you need water or help he stops. The date shake is no longer part of the tour. Ben provided snacks and water. Overall, it was an ok experience. It would be better if you only rode in the canyons and skipped the first and last 5 miles. The canyons were beautiful and I’m glad I did the ride.

Our group of nine had a great time. Evan was prompt, efficient and very knowledgeable. One bike with a gear problem was quickly replaced. Gear and bikes were in great shape and very clean. The road was empty so we could ride side by side and chat. Highly recommend.

The bicycle ride was great and a highlight of our time in the area, and I highly recommend it. The scenery was beautiful - through the desert into the rock canyon, and then we came out of the canyon onto the agricultural plains. Our driver/guide Kolin was interesting and informative. The riding is very easy as it is a slight descent or flat. We stopped a few times for photos and water and snacks which were provided. We bought some delicious dates from a road side stand at the end for a very reasonable price. I had some trouble signing up on-line and ended up phoning to make our reservation.
